Our extension machine, TF series is adoptiong a structure called "sliding slide" as a slide for raising a hook and cutting wire. This is because the sliding slide can handle higher intensity with a small space compared with the linear guide. The slide slide consists of a U-shaped part (sliding table) that is mounted on the frame and a part (slide) that actually slides on it. In order to minimize the clearance between the parts, very high machining technology is required not only for dimensional accuracy but also for perpendicularity and parallelism. In addition, it is also required to assemble techniques such as scraping to take smooth slide and oil lubrication into consideration, and countermeasures against warping which is likely to occur when tightening parts screws. Normally, spacers may be used for clearance adjustment, but in consideration of aging, we do not use them. This sliding slides are displayed also in the technical exhibition room of our company.
