Does CG series make oval springs and torsion springs?

Yes. CG series can make simple 2D torsion springs without options, and can make oval springs with optional center slide vertical movement function.

How does CG series make programming data?

Just by inputting spring specifications such as wire diameter, outer diameter, free length, and number of coils, programming data is automatically made.

What cutting methods does CG series have?

Straight cutting, rotary cutting, and torsion cutting are available. In the CG rotary cutting system, operators can change its rotary width according to spring properties or clients’ know-how.

Why does CG series have three coiling slides?

This is because we want to maintain machine rigidity by keeping the force direction during coiling and sliding direction on the same line. Also, to change coiling directions (right and left), only changing the tool holders is necessary, which saves time. Furthermore, by attaching a spring gauge probe to the empty slide and drive it, it is possible to prevent spring contact when cutting.

Does CG series any problems where the arbor (mandrill) unit or feed shaft gradually comes out?

We have carefully designed and selected the arbor (mandrill) clamping and wire feed unit structures and used parts such as bearings to avoid the problems.

Is servo-controlled retractable arbor (mandrill) available?

Yes. All CG series except CG-80 can equip optional retractable arbor (mandrill).
